New Layout
Simple. Sassy. People say less is more. I agree – for this layout at least. (Not for food). Although, to be honest, simple layouts are so much easier to work with. And less distracting. A big thumbs up.

People are saying that the skies are much clearer and more beautiful now that the planes aren’t in the sky. I partially agree with that: seeing no metal objects floating around our blue sky can sometimes be a downer. Especially as it is very rare to see blue skies here. However, as a child, I always used to love looking at the trails of steam coming out of the planes. Sometimes I’d see a trail, but no plane!
I guess that my first argument is probably more valid, and applies to more people? So I guess that wins my vote.
Although, two of my friends are stuck in countries: one is Greece and one is Spain. School starts in two days (on Wednesday), and this is our last week of school. Then our exams start on the 4th May…will they be back in time? Planes should be up and running again by then, but there are so many people wanting to get a ticket back home, will my friends be able to get a ticket in time? I think it’s more likely that they’ll miss the last week of school, rather than our exams, but that’s bad enough! My friends and I were having a little joke about it though: we are doing the International Baccalaureate, so it’s not a total fail if they don’t get back to England in time! It’s not international for no reason!
The reason why I wrote this post on this topic wasn’t for the reason of telling of my friends, but because of the extremely haunting picture on APOD today. It’s of the ash directly above the volcano in iceland, and it is very menacing:

I’m surprised anyone would want to get that close to take the picture! Even though it is a stunning photo. It still scares me a bit though…
What do you guys think of this and this whole situation?
Does it what says on the tin, basically. CHALLENGE ME. =3
Challenge me here!!
Also installed a calender which can be seen under ‘life’. Because, hey, it’s a calendar of my life.
And one more astropics for you lovely people too ogle over just like I do!

Scarily beautiful, no?
I just received an email saying that there had been a new registration for this blog. Intriguing! I was quite flattered – not going to lie.
Details:
Username: MisterX82507
E-mail: JohnDillinger1903@gmx.com
Unfortunately, I know no John Dillinger, so I decided to search engine his email. It came up with a few interesting results: basically, this John dude has been registering on random WordPress based blogs. He’s signing up with the same email address and similar username; the username always seems to have different digits at the end of it.
The bloggers, who were also confused about this new registration, asked other people for help, and whether this guy was safe. This is what I found, in case someone has stumbled across my blog for the same reason:
1) He registers when it’s possible to. Some people think that he only register’s when you can automatically become an editor/admin and then ridiculously span your site. However, this isn’t true for my site, so I doubt this is true. But be careful instead.
2) I had a look at the time stamps for everywhere I looked at it seems that this John only started working yesterday (8th). I don’t know what this means, but I saw it, and wanted to point it out to you ![]()
3) Each time he signs up he has different 4 digits at the end of the username
4) All of the blogs have no connection. For that reason, I think it is a spam bot just trying to get connections/emails/places to spam so they can advertise or whatever they want to do.
I don’t think he’s bad (unless he’s waiting for something to happen…!). If you are him and you are a legit person, please do email me letting me know, and sorry for this huge misunderstanding!!
But to all those confused bloggers out there, if you do find this new registration, don’t fret too much. But I do suggest deleting him as we don’t know what he is or what he’ll do.
(Haha I just searched John Dillinger in google and it says he was a bank robber at the start of the 20th century. Spooky!!)
Today at around 5am my house alarm went off. For some reason, I felt brave enough to jump straight out of bed and help my parents investigate the cause…was I crazy?! The alarm box we have said it came from the Dining Room…that has two glass doors on one side leading to my garden, and long windows on the other, leading to my driveway. It could have been either. I’m convinced it was someone in my garden trying to get it. Or the annoying cat who always walks passed. The reason I thought this was because our next door neighbour’s back light was on, and yet there was no-one outside from their house/their door wasn’t open. So, surely, the burglar/cat out of fright would’ve climbed into their garden. Makes sense, no?!
Well I told this to my dad who said that our alarm is an infra-red laser which doesn’t travel through glass. Erm…yes it does! My final part of my proof which I’ll carry out today is how long our back light stays on for. It probably (although not definitely, depending on what part of my garden the cat/burglar came from) would have picked the person up from their movements, then would stay on for a certain amount of time. But it was off by the time my parents went downstairs…
I really should be a detective XD
Anyway, I have a new GORGEOUS astropic!

This stunning, young (in star age) satellite galaxy surrounded by natal gas and dust. Beautiful, no?
It’s time for the Jews to not eat anything that rises. All in the spirit of our Exodus from Egypt. The Jews apparently had no time to let their bread rise when they were escaping, so we commemorate that.
I find that Pesach (passover) is quite hypocritical though (in a very light hearted way, I don’t mean this seriously). Pesach is meant to be a celebration of how we were freed from slavery. And yet, all the Jewish mothers are forced to slave over their house, cleaning EVERYTHING to make sure there are no crumbs anywhere. It’s a very sore sight. Ah well. I love matzah bry

It’s beautiful, no? The funny thing about this picture (which is a picture of a starburst galaxy) is that that shape is usually made when two galaxies collide. However, this galaxy appears to be alone…spooky.
